ITW Packaging Systems – Signode East Europe (Dinslaken, Germany) is a sales and service business unit, established over 20 years ago and devoted to strategically develop the market in East Europe for all ITW packaging systems and consumables. In view of the expansion of its activities in the North/East region (Russia, Ukraine, Romania) a self-standing packaging organisation, ITW Packaging Systems Russia, is already established and in 2007 a local manufacturing will be built in Russia. To further devevelop and manage the sales of ITW Packaging Systems in Russia we are looking for an excellent (M/F) :

Sales & Marketing Manager Russia

(willing to relocate to Russia)

Mission :

• In an extensive training period of 6-12 months in Dinslaken (Germany) you will work closely together with the General Manager East Europe and acquire top level knowledge about products, procedures, market- & sales strategy, management and company culture. You will progressively take over the sales- & marketing activities for the Russian market.

• When relocated to Russia you will be responsible for managing the sales team and distributors in Russia. You will analyse markets and develop and implement sales strategies.

• You will focus on expanding business in existing accounts and on new business development. Together with your salesteam and distributors you will expand market share and product range through direct sales, distributor channels and key account management.

• You will liaise and coordinate with local and international production facilities.

• In this position you will report directly to the General Manager ITW East Europe.

Profile :

• To qualify for this challenging management position you have a relevant and successful background in business-to-business sales & marketing of technical applications for a variety of industries. You preferably have a higher technical or business degree or equal by experience.

• We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a Russian or Ukrainian nationality or origin and a solid commercial experience in a West-European company.

• You are willing to spend considerable time in Dinslaken (Germany) and you are ready to relocate to Russia after 6-12 months.

• You are above all an engaging personality with proven strong leadership, business acumen and organisational skills. You are an autonomous, entrepreneurial and trustworthy professional with strong communication skills, diplomacy, persuasiveness and commercial insight.

• You have excellent command of Russian & English.
